Summonses have been issued, arising out of the pepper crisis in February, on Barabed Bishirgian, deputy chairman of James and Shakespeare Company, now in compulsory liquidation, John Howeson a director of many companies and a member of the executive of the Tin Producers’ Association, Louis Hardy, a former managing director of William Henry and Company, in which Howeson was a large shareholder and which was closely associated with James and Shakespeare. All the summonses refer to the prospectus issued concerning James and Shakespeare.
