FIGURES FOR SEPTEMBER By Telegraph Press Association WELLINGTON, October 26. The following are the overseas trade figures, excluding specie, for September 1935 (in New Zealand currency):— Exports £2,690,000; imports £3,169,000; excess of imports £479,000. For September, 1934, they were;— Exports £2,447,000; imports £2,543,000; excess of imports £96,000, and for September, 1933:—£2,173,000, £2,525,000 and £352,000. For the nine monthly period ended September, 1935, they were:—Exports £35,893,000; imports £26,456,000, giving an excess of exports of £9,437,000. For the similar period of 1934 they were:—£39,877,000, and £22.386,000, with an excess of exports amounting to £17,491,000, and for the same period of 1933, £31,453,000; £18,992,000, with an excess of exports of £12,551,000. The value of specie is excluded during September, 1935, from the imports, £205, and for the nine monthly period ended September, 1935, the exports were £521,000 and imports £378,855.
