PAINFUL INJURY
TOPS OF TWO FINGERS CHOPPED OFF. By Telegraph—Press Association INVERCARGILL. June 9. A painful injury to his left hand was suffered by Lorraine McKnight, aged 20, an employee of Thomas Borthwiek and Son Ltd. He chopped the ends off two fingers of his left hand, and was admitted to the Southland Hospital, where an operation was performed.
