DEATH OF NOTABLE AUSTRALIAN FIGURE Uni Led Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received May 14, 8 p.m.) SYDNEY, May 14. Sir Thomas Henley, a former member of the Legislative Assembly of Australia was flrowned in the harbour to-day. He had been in indifferent health. Prior to embarking on the Manly ferry for a short harbour trip, Sir Thomas Henley told his chauffeur to await his return, remarking at the same time: “If I happen to get a dizzy feeling get into touch with my brother at the bowling club.” A woman passenger who saw Sir Thomas go overboard half-way down the harbour, raised the alarm. The steamer was stopped and reversed, and two young men attached to the Manly Lifesaving Club leapt into the harbour fully dressed. They supported Sir Thomas who, however, was dead when taken aboard.
