GERMANY’S MATERIAL LOSSES United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright BERLIN, May 10. The newspaper “Voelkischer Beobachter” publishes the first official figures regarding Jewish political refugees from Germany. Since the introduction of Nazism 90,000 Jews and 20,000 non-Jewish members of political parties have left Germany. Ten thousand, including 99 per cent, of Jews who have since returned, have been sent to concentration camps for “acclimatisation.” The Economic Ministry estimates that Germany’s capital loss, owing to the “emigration,” is £32,000,000.
