DISPUTE SETTLED
KANNA TO SAIL By Telegraph—Press Association WESTPORT, May 12. After a series of meetings yesterday and to-day, the trouble in the Union Steam Ship Company’s Kanna has been adjusted and the vessel is to sail on the morning’s tide for New Plymouth and Auckland. The Canopus, which was to have sailed this morning and was held up while the meetings occupied the attention of the parties to the dispute, is also sailing on the morning’s tide for Auckland, and the Titoki is due to leave for Picton and Wanganui. The only other vessel in port is the Gabriella, which arrived on Saturday evening from Dunedin. She is on Australian articles and was not affected by the dispute.
