IRRIGATION FARM
EXPERIMENTS AT SEAFIELD THREATENED By Telegraph—Press Association ASHBURTON, May 11. It Is reported that the Government intends to suspend Irrigation experimental work on the special farm at Seafield after it has been in operation for about three years. The County and Borough Councils, the A. and P. Association, the Farmers’ Union and the Chamber of Commerce separately have forwarded to the act-ing-Frime Minister telegrams protesting against the suspension and emphasising the value of the work to agriculturists.
