The fortnightly meeting of Timaru Lodge No. 11, U.A.0.D., was held on Tuesday, Bro. V. Keay, A.D., presiding over a large attendance. Sick pay totalling £2l/17/4 was passed for payment. P.A. Bro. Fox reported that the juvenile movement was making good progress. A ritual competition for the Chittock Cup was held, Bro. R. A. Latimer being the winner. Thirty members of the Juvenile Lodge were admitted and a long programme was gone through, items being supplied by the Druids’ Jazz Band, Bros. Ruston, McCone, Girvan, Boys and Fox. Bro. Hunt presented to the adult Lodge a framed photograph of the winning team at the recent Muchmore Memorial Challenge Shield competition.
