FAIRLIE CLUB At the weekly shoot of the Fairlie Miniature Rifle Club held in the Aorangi Hall on Tuesday evening an own j start handicap resulted; W. Whitehead 78-2-80, W. Close 78-3-78, S. Breen 61-12-73. W. Whitehead won the trophy ; and button. TIMARU CLUB The weekly shoot of the Timaru Miniature Rifle Club was held on Tuesday evening. In the shoot-off for the pr2vious week’s prize M. E. North was the winner. Five members tied with the possible (including handicaps) for this week’s prize, and will shoot off next week. GLENITI CLUB The opening shoot of the Glen-iti | Miniature Rifle Club was well attended | and the keenness displayed augurs will for the incoming season. The women’s ; button was won by Mrs Brehaut and the men’s by T. Marshall. Three tied for the weekly trophy which will be decided next week. The highest scores off the rifle were: Mrs Brehaut 79, T. Shaw 74, H. Mclntosh 74, O. Coskie 70, M. Wooding 70. Average 74.7. WASHDYKE CLUB The first official shoot of the Washdyke Miniature Rifle Club was held on Monday evening. The trophy was won by D. COLMOCO CLUB A general meeting of the Colmoco Miniature Rifle Club was held to decide the shooting night for the season. It was decided that the club have its first shoot this season to-morrow in the Drill Hall, the championship to start as from the last Friday in May.
