CHRYSANTHEMUM SHOW
FINE EXHIBITS The Bay Hall was transformed into a scene of brilliant colour and beauty yesterday when the Timaru Horticultural Society held its annual chrysanthemum show. Although pride of place was given to the chrysanthemums there was a vivid display of other autumn flowers in rich yellow and bronze colourings. Masses of beautiful chrysanthemums in many shades were displayed to the best advantage and the decorative work was of a very high standard. Those present included Mr and Mrs G. Bowker, Mr and Mrs G. Knowles, Mr and Mrs Graham, Mr and Mrs W. Auld, Mr and Mrs Foden, Mr and Mrs W. Irwin, Mr and Mrs J. W. Adams, Mr and Mrs W. Hayes (Waimate), Dr and Mrs G. Kingston. Mrs R. H. Rhodes, Mrs F. L. Barker, Mrs Gladstone Robinson, Mrs F. Robinson (Springfield), Mrs C. H. Gorton. Mrs A. N. Oakey, Mrs R. L. Orbell, Mrs F. J. Rolleston, Mrs J. M. Scott, Mrs C. Bowker, Mrs W. S.
