SOLDIERS’ BONUS
APPROVED IN FACE OF THREAT OF VETO United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright WASHINGTON, May 7. In face of the promised veto by President Roosevelt, the Senate joined the House of Representatives in voting for a cash payment of the soldiers’ bonus by a two billion dollar issue of new currency.
