The cricket match between the South African team and Leicestershire XI. was concluded to-day, the visitors winning by 170 runs. The South Africans, who in the first innings made 312, declared with three wickets down for 214 in the second innings. Leicestershire compiled 123 in the first innings, and 233 in the second innings. Despite the loose bowling and poor fielding, the Leicester batsmen were quickly dismissed. Armstrong and Dempster took advantage of the slack bowling to add 79 in 45 minutes.
