NUT BROWNIES * 4ozs. butter, sozs. sugar. 2 eggs, £ * 7ozs. flour, 2ozs. melted choco- ❖ late, 1 teaspoon vanilla essence, tjl llozs. chopped walnuts, 4 teaspoon baking powder, a little * 5: milk and a pinch of salt. Cream ,£ * butter and sugar and beaten <• ••• eggs and flour alternately. Stir * % in essence, chopped walnuts and * * melted chocolate. Add sufficient ❖ * milk to make a fairly soft con- £ sistency.
