A SCHOOL EXHIBIT
PRAISE FROM CANADA By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, May 1. Last year an exhibit of the work done at the Kowhai Intermediate School, Auckland, was sent to Canada for exhibition in the Ottawa public schools. The Education Board has now received a copy of the report made on it, by the chief inspector of the Ottawa schools, who described it as very complete, and an excellent exhibition. After praising various aspects, the inspector said that the inlaid wood work was the most remarkable school work he had seen. In forwarding this report, the Canadian Trade Commissioner said the inspector was recognised as an outstanding educational authority in Canada. A copy of his report has been sent to every school inspector throughout Canada. The exhibit itself, would be sent to various schools, and probably it would be displayed at the Central Exhibition in August. “It shows what an intermediate school can do.” commented the chairman of the Board, which decided to congratulate the Kowhai School.
