DUNEDIN By Telegraph—Press Association DUNEDIN, April 30. More marriages took place in Dunedin during the month ended to-day than for any other month since March of last year. Easter marriages were extremely popular, and assisted to produce a total of 100 marriages. Easter last year fell at the end of March, during which month 114 licenses were issued. Last April the total was 62, and not since 1920 has the month of April had anything like the number registered for the last 30 days of the current year. Births showed a decrease of 23 on the corresponding period of last year, while there were 15 fewer deaths.
