APPEAL DISMISSED
By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, April 30. An appeal by O. W. Mclnally, a jockey, against his disqualification for six months by the judicial committee of the Whangarei Racing Club was dismissed by the Auckland District Committee. Mclnally rode the favourite, Gay Cockade, in the Ruatangata Handicap. in which he ran third. The disqualification was imposed on the ground that the horse was not run on his merits. The District Committee, after hearing Mclnally, found that he had failed to bring any evidence to sustain the grounds of his appeal, which was therefore dismissed. The deposit of £5 was ordered to be returned to Mclnally.
