WINCHESTER The annual meeting of the Winchester Women's Institute was held on Tuesday, Mrs W. E. Knight presiding over a large attendance of members. Mrs D. A. Pearce (hon. secretary) presented the annual report and balance-sheet. The report stated that the year had been successful and entertaining in every way. The membership had increased from 20 to 36. The monthly meetings had been well attended. During the year several demonstrations had been given. The demonstrators were Mrs G. Davey (knitting and the care of woollen garments), Mrs C.
