RECORDS OF SERIOUS DISTURBANCES

Meteorologists in India are generally of opinion that the epicentre of the great earthquake shock on Saturday was in Tibet, somewhere northwest of Lhasa. The Calcutta observatory recorded eleven shocks of varying intensity, following the shock on Saturday.
