The Black-Desmond engagement was announced in the presence of Mr Scott and friends in Miss Florence Desmond’s dressing-room at the Palace Theatre, where she is appearing in a streamline revue. She returned to the stage after her health had been honoured. The marriage is expected to take place in April.
