SERIOUS OUTRAGE ALLEGED United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright CALCUTTA, December 16. A woman passenger was killed and many seriously injured, including the driver and fireman, of the Rangoon to Mandalay express, which was derailed through the deliberate removal of fishplates near a bridge, 117 miles from Rangoon. Three carriages crashed into a ditch and were smashed to matchwood. The engine and several other carriages capsized. Fortunately most of the wrecked carriages were empty, otherwise a heavy death roll was likely.
