Royal guests have already begun to arrive for the wedding of the Duke of Kent to Princess Marina. Princess Irene of Greece, Princess Helen and Princess Ileana of Roumania, the Queen Mother of Roumania, and Prince Paul of Greece arrived by air from Paris to-day. Princess Juliana of Holland leaves Rotterdam tomorrow. INVITATION DECLINED ATTITUDE OF IRISH FREE STATE United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright (Received November 19. 7.10 p.m.) LONDON, November 18. “The Daily Express” states that the Governor-General of the Irish Free State (Mr Donald Buckley) has declined His Majesty’s invitation to the Duke of Kent’s wedding. Mr Buckley has never attended any function in his official capacity. To do so would be a breach of the understanding reached when he was appointed. It is stated authoritatively that no member of the Mr de Valera’s Government will attend the wedding but may be represented by Mr J. W. Dulanty, High Commissioner in London.
