RESIDENCE ENTERED
POLICE MAKE AN ARREST The residence of Mr Thomas Thomson in Stafford Street North, was broken into on Sunday night, and £l3 in money and a Christmas cake were stolen. Yesterday Constable Hogg noticed an unemployed man cashing a number of notes, and his suspicions were aroused. He made inquiries, and at midnight last night he visited the house of the suspect and took him into custody. The man will be charged at the Magistrate’s Court this morning.
