DANGEROUS BATHING PLACE
TWO LIVES LOST By Telegrapn —Pres3 Association WELLINGTON, November 19. At the inquest on Betty Isabella Simmiss and Enid Thelma Simmiss, who were drowned in Hutt River, on Sunday afternoon, the father stated only the older girl could swim. The girls usually bathed at a safe part of the river, but on this occasion went to a dangerous place. A verdict of accidentally drowned was returned, the Coroner remarking on the dangerousness of the spot.
