STANDS FOR LONDON SPECTATORS PRINCESS TO ARRIVE NEXT WEDNESDAY British Official Wireless (Received November 16, 5.5 p.m.) RUGBY, November 15. Special stands for spectators to witness the processions from Westminster Abbey on the occasion of the wedding of the Duke of Kent are being erected in Parliament Square and elsewhere along the route. The special stands and buildings will be decorated with the Duke’s emblems and the national flags of Greece and Denmark.
PRINCESS MARINA ARRIVES NEXT WEDNESDAY MARRIAGE ON NOVEMBER 29. British Official Wireless ‘Received November 16, 5.5 p.m.) RUGBY. November 15. Princess Marina will arrive in London on Wednesday. November 21, and the wedding will take place on November 29. She will travel from Dover with her parents in a special train to Victoria Station, where she will be met by the King and Queen, the Duke of Kent, the Prince of Wales and other members of the Royal Family. As it will not be a State arrival there will be no ceremony. THE PRINCESS’S TROUSSEAU PROBLEM OF TARIFF CHARGE United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright LONDON. November 15. The “Daily Express” says that Princess Marina will have to pay heavy Customs duty on her Paris-made trousseau, when she lands at Dover next week, but the selection of new clothes will be the smallest that a Royal bride has collected in recent years. “Fashions change st> suddenly that I don’t want to buy too many clothes,” said Princess Marina, more than once, to the dressmakers. She has chosen two morning, seven afternoon and seven evening gowns.
