NOTES The Waikouaiti completed discharge of her Timaru consignment of Australian coal and general cargo yesterday and after loading for Sydney and Newcastle departed for Lyttelton. She is to leave New Zealand via Bluff next week. The Breeze is expected to arrive from Dunedin to-day. She is to lift Wellington, Picton and Wanganui shipments here and should get away for Lyttelton this evening. The arrival of the Opihi from Oamaru has been deferred till tomorrow. On Monday she is to load for Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth before sailing for the north via Lyttelton. The Waimarino should be here from Dunedin on Tuesday to load for Picton, Wellington and Auckland. The Parera is set down to load for Wellington, Wanganui, New Plymouth and Waikato at this port on Tuesday. Abel Tasman for Timaru. Messrs H. J. R. Somerville and Co. advise that the inter-colonial steamer Abel Tasman will include Timaru in her New Zealand itinerary this voyage. The vessel will call at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin and at this port, where she is due on November 28, she will discharge hardwood poles and load for Sydney. It will be the first occasion on which the Abel Tasman has visited Timaru since she took up AustraliaNew Zealand running about a year ago. Rangitata Clears London. The New Zealand Shipping Company have received cabled advice that the Rangitata sailed from London on Thursday afternoon for New Zealand via Panama. She is due at Auckland about December 19.
