FLIGHT TO AUSTRALIA
ROUTE THROUGH CANADA TO MELBOURNE United Press Association—Bv Electric Telegraph—Copyright HONOLULU, October 26. Mr Leon Skilling has announced that Mr C. T. P. Ulm, the Australian airman is testing a ’plane in England for a flight from Canada to Australia, starting probably on November 20. Mr Skilling states that he is the navigator and Mr George M, Littlejohn of Australia will be the co-pilot. Mr Skilling is on the Aorangi en route to Montreal to meet Mr Ulm. They plan to make landings at Honolulu, Suva, Auckland and Melbourne. They will use a lowwinged land monoplane.

Mr Skilling said that four, including himself, would probably take off from Vancouver or Montreal, and fly to Melbourne, with a landing a Honolulu, Fiji and Auckland. He said that Mr Ulm and Captain Littlejohn are in England testing the ’plane for the flight.
