ROYAL WEDDING
BROADCAST OF SERVICE ARRANGED United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, October 28. At least 30,000,000 people will hear the wedding service of the Duke of Kent and Princess Marina at Westminster Abbey, on November 29. The ceremony will be broadcast to all Empire stations, the United States, and parts of Europe, There will first be a running commentary on the scenes outside the Abbey. This will gradually fade into the service within. A special control room is being constructed in Henry VII. Chapel, from which the engineers will control the broadcast. The Duke of Kent will visit Daventry on Monday to see the station from which the Dominions and Colonies will hear the service.
