FIRST PUBLISHED IN SYDNEY REALISTIC GLIMPSES OF RECENT OUTRAGES United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph —Copyright (Received October 17, 8.10 p.m.) SYDNEY, October 17. The City Press to-day print the first radio pictures of overseas events. “The Sydney Morning Herald” displays the Australian aviator, J. Melrose, sitting beside his racing plane at Mildenhall, reproduced from a photograph taken in London yesterday and transmitted last night. “The Sydney Sun" this afternoon features an enlarged and startling picture of the assassination of King Alexander with Colonel Poillet on horseback, bringing his sabre down on the neck of the assassin as he was dropping off the running board of the car. Other gendarmes are shown in the act of seizing the assassin. Even the number of the car can be plainly read. This picture was lodged in London early today for transmission to Australia.
