FIRST PRIZE IN SWEEP
£12,000 WON BY DUNEDIN RESIDENTS By Telegraph—Press Association DUNEDIN. September 13. First prize in the latest Tattersalls consultation was won by two Dunedin men, A. W. Henderson and A. Cranshaw. employees of the Otago Harbour Board. The number of the ticket which brings them £12,000 is 29060. The Hopeful Syndicate, under which name they have been sending tickets, was commenced six months ago, the decision being made on the da> of the Harbour Board picnic last March.
third prize of £1250 was G.T., of Freeman’s Bay, Auckland, whose ticket was number 100078.
