“The Yorkshire Observer” says: Traders are wondering whether, in view of the unemployment at Tourcoing and Rcubaix, where 15,000 employees have been thrown out of work by the cessation of wool-combing, France will participate in the Australian wool sales. Germany and Italy are also -uilikely to operate. Bradford considers that Australia should extend the selling season until Christmas in order to maintain values at an economic level.
