PETROL WAR
LAUNCHED IN SYDNEY. Unit d Press Association—By Electric Telegraph - Copyright (Received July 25, 9.35 p.m.) SYDNEY, July 25. A petrol price “war” was launched to-day with the announcement by one leading company that it was reducing theyprice of first grade spirit to 1/5 per gallon and second grade to 1/4. Immediate action is being taken by other companies to reconsider their rates.
