HIGH TRICES FOR STUD RAMS. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph —Copyright (Received June 26, 9.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, June 26. The stud sheep sales were continued to-day. The highest price, 1200 guineas, was paid for a special pure Merino ram from G. B. Falkiner’s Haddon Rig Stud at Warren. This was the highest price accepted at an auction since 1929. Other offerings from the same stud made 725 guineas, 550 guineas and 725 guineas. The Renwick estate, New Zealand, purchased a Merino ram for 100 guineas and another from Kater Brothers’ estate for 100 guineas. To-day’s sales showed a marked improvement on yesterday’s figures.
