POPE LAUNCHES WORLD WIDE CAMPAIGN. LEAGUES OF DECENCY FORMING. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Col vrlght (Received June 25. 7 p.m.) LONDON, June 25.. “The Daily Express” says: “The Pope has launched a world crusade against immoral films and Roman Catholic organisations have been asked to form local Leagues of Decency and to arrange meetings in opposition to sex and crime films. Priests and bishops also have been instructed to declare boycotts on certain films. Film producers have been given no warning and a world campaign may be launched against an individual firm in 24 hours. Leagues of Decency are being formed daily in Britain.”
