POLAR FLIGHT
LINCOLN ELLSWORTH'S PLANS. United Press Association—B> Electric Tel egraph Copyright (Received June 25, 7.10 p.m.) NEW YORK, June 24. Following the failure of the recent expedition, when an aeroplane was wrecked by ice, Mr Lincoln Ellsworth expects to leave in September to attempt another flight across the Antarctic continent. With Captain Bernt Balchen as pilot, Mr Ellsworth hopes to fly from Deception Island, southward to Weddell Sea, thence westward over the Continent to the Bay of Whales, and make contact with the supply ship.
