SEADOWN
DRAMA CIRCLE. The first meeting of the Seadown Women’s Drama Circle took place at the residence of Mrs A. G. Williams. A very pleasant afternoon was spent in the reading of two plays “George Proposes.” and “The Jumble Sale.” It was unanimously agreed to stage one or two plays. The next meeting of the circle will be held at the residence of Mrs E. Oldfield. GENERAL. Some of the heaviest frosts on record have been experienced lately and the wet conditions have retarded the digging of the remaining crops of potatoes. A crop of more than 30 acres has been lifted by Mr Topham. New season’s lambs are to be seen on the property of Mr J. McCully.
