PERSONAL. Mr John Kennedy, chairman of the New Zealand Cycling Federation, left yesterday for Christchurch to attend a meeting of the Federation. Miss Molly Kerr, who has been appointed to the staff at Lewisham Hospital. will leave for Christchurch to-day.
MINIATURE RIFLES. The following scores were registered at the weekly shoot of the Citizen’s Miniature Rifle Club: W. Angland 79, C. Borrell 76. P. Russell 76. R. Hayes 75, J. Henry 75. J. Kerr 74, K. Smith 74, J. Stringer 74. HEAVY FROSTS CONTINUE. Another heavy frost was experienced yesterday morning, bright sunshine continuing throughout the day. The spinsters and bachelors of Woodbury and Orari Gorge will hold a dance in the Coronation Hall, Woodbury, on July 6.
