QUADRUPLETS IN U.S.A.

FATHER POOR BUT PROUD OF THEM. VANCOUVER, June 14. Following the recent Canadian record of a mother bearing five children together, an American report tells of the birth of quadruplets. Four babies—a boy and three girls—arrived at the home of Larry Wycoff, in Sac City, lowa. All are perfectly formed and there is an excellent chance of their survival. Mrs Wycoff, their mother, is 30. She says she does not believe to large families, but has nine children altogether. The father said to-day: "I don’t know how I’m going to get along on 16 dollars (normally £3/4/-) a week, but you bet your life I’m proud of them."
