FAMOUS TENNIS PLAYERS.- The English championships will commence today at Wimbledon, the Mecca of the world’s tennis stars. On the left are the Australian Davis Cup players — J. Crawford, AK. Quist, and V. B. McGrath —who defeated the Drench train by three matches to two in a semi-final of the European zone of the Davis Cup, and note meet Czechoslovakia in the zone final commencing on July 13. On the right are Andre Merlin (left) and F. J. Perry, the well-known British player. Merliu brilliantly defeated the Australian, Crawford, in the opening day's plap of the Davis Cup match between France and Australia in Paris.
