DETTON beats santen. By Telegraph—Press Association MASTERTON, May 22. A cleverly executed back-loop slam spelt disaster for Charlie Santen when he met Dean Detton here to-night m the fastest and most spectacular professional contest evsr staged in the Wairarapa. Santen secured the first fall early in the fourth round with a body press after an aeroplane spin. Detton equalised within 10 seconds of the opening of the next round when Santen crashed through on to the spectators after being tackled all round the ring. He was unable to resume and Detton was awarded a fall. The sixth session was full of thrills, the end coming after seven minutes of spectacular wrestling when Detton back loop slammed his opponent to win the deciding fall.
