ATTITUDE OF PRINCE.
REGRET AT RECENT DEVELOPMENTS. United Press Association—By Electric Tel egraph—Copyright (Received May 22, 7.10 p.m. LONDON, May 22. It is semi-officially explained that Prince George’s letter to the British Legion was sent to Sir Frederick Maurice ten days ago. It was presumed that the various authorities had been informed of the Prince’s decision several days ago and the delay caused considerable misunderstanding at which the Prince is distressed.
