Boussus defeated Perry 6-4. 2-6, 7-5. Austin defeated Merlin, 6-1, 7-5. Perry and Hughes defeated Borotra and Bernard. 6-2, 7-9. 6-3. Brugnon and Gentien defeated Malfroy and Tuckey, 2-6, 6-4, 6-3. Perry led 5-3 in the third set of his match against Boussus, and had a match point, but lost four games, mainly owing to carelessness, although Boussus made a remarkable rally when apparently defeated.
