BURST INTO FLAMES
SENSATIONAL MOTOR ACCIDENT. CHARRED REMAINS IN WRECKAGE. United Press Association—By Electric T Hearr.ph—Copyright (Received May 22, 9.60 p.m.) SYDNEY. May 22. A sensational accident cccurred at Sutherland to-day, when a motor lorry, on which was a huge petrol tank, struck an electric light pole. The vehicle oevrturned and the petrol burst into flames. The driver (Ernest Yabsley) was thrown clear uninjured, but he had to be dragged away from the burning lorry. The police later discovered the charred remains of Peter McMahon (22) beneath the wreckage.
