A BUSY DAY
MR FORBES AT NEW PLYMOUTH. NEW PLYMOUTH, May 21. The Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes returned to New Plymouth this morning from Mount Egmont and spoke to the children of the central school, which is at present celebrating its jubilee. He was the guest of the rotary club at luncheon. Waitara was visited by Mr Forbes this afternoon, where the school was inspected. At a civic reception Mr Forbes paid a tribute to the work of the Mortgagors’ Adjustment Commission in arriving at adjustments of benefit to mortgagors and mortgagees. This evening Mr Forbes and Mr Masters attended the opening of the central school jubilee.
