SECONDARY SCHOOLGIRLS’ CHAMPIONSHIPS.
The Dominion secondary schoolgirls* ski championships were held on the Ball Glacier on Saturday in splendid weather conditions. The schools which were represented in th* contests were: Craighead, Timaru; St. Margaret's, Christchurch; Selwyn House, Christchurch; Amberley College, Christchurch; Girls’ High School, Christchurch; Waitaki Girls’ High School; Otago Girls’ High School, and Southland Girls’ High School. Results: — A Teams. Slalom —Prue Wigley (Craighead). 55 l-s Sec., 1; Margaret Wigley (Craighead). 65 _l-ssec.. 2; Alison Rowley (Craighead), 83/sec.. 3. Downhill—Prue Wigley (Craighead) 1, Margaret Wigley (Craighead) 2, Doreen Standage (Otago Girls’ High School) 3. Cross-Country—Prue Wigley (Craighead) 1, Eleanor Everist (St. Margaret's) 2.
