LISTENING TEST
MORSE CODE FOR WIRELESS TESTS.
United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, May 20. Following five minutes’ gramophone music, to enable listeners to adjust their receivers, the Morse alphabet will be sent out, letter by letter, from 9.30 to 9.55 in the morning, in connection with the world-wide wireless listening tests from the Empire station, Daventry. Observers will listen between the signals for the echo from the cosmic blanket millions of miles distant, and will report results to Mr E. V. Appleton.
Experiments will continue on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays until the world-wide record is compiled.
