Lilyan Tashman and Ned Sparks. The film, the third musical one Crosby has appeared in for Paramount, reveals him as a musicalcomedy star who is engaged to the wrong girl, a scheming, gold-digging blonde. He falls in love with another girl, and finally wins her after an amusing series of highly interesting sequences. In addition to being the central point of the romantic plot, Crosby sings several brand new hit tunes, specially composed for him. Jack Oakie and Skeets Gallagher are cast
as a team of comedians who mistakenly go “high-hat” when they reach Broadway.
