BASKETBALL
TIMARU SUB-ASSOCIATION, The Timaru Sub - Association’s Basketball games held to-day were fast and play was on the whole keen and good. A fair attendance of spectators watched the competitions on the Bay courts on Saturday, the best game of the day being that between High School Old Girls A.l and Baptist. The results of the games were: A Grade. Technical Old Girls A 1 defeated Technical Old Girls A2. 20-7. High School Old Girls A2 defeated High School Old Girls A 3, 9-2. High School Old Girls A 1 defeated Baptist, 28-14. B Grade. Blue Triangle defeated Washdyke, 18-13. Technical High School B. won from McKenzies by default. Trinity defeated Y. Gym. Club, 16-6.
