THEFT BY PRISONERS
EXTRAORDINARY AFFAIR IN PERTH. United Press Association— By Electn. Telegraph —Copyright PERTH. May 19. Allegations were made in Court that three men who were serving sentences of imprisonment in the Bunbery gaol escaped from the cells, stole u quantity of goods from a warehouse, and returned to gaol unnoticed. The men were charged with stealing goods worth £BO. As the cell in which the men had been placed was not damaged, the police are mystified how the escape was effected.
