BOMB OUTRAGE
SALUTARY SENTENCE IN GERMANY.
United Press Association—By Electric Trle'trr.ph—Copyright BERLIN, May 18. Erwin Schultz pleaded guilty, nnd was sentenced to ten years’ imprisonment for bomb-throwing in the Unter den Linden, on April 23.
A house painter, Erwin Schultz, who is alleged to be a Communist, has confessed that he threw a hand grenade in the Unter den Linden into a taxicab occupied by an Austrian Jew, named David Oliver, the owner of a chain of cinemas, including the capital, where the Bergner film was banned on March 3. The chauffeur was severely injured, but Oliver was almost unscratched. The car was wrecked.
