APPROVAL OF INDIAN CONGRESS. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph —Copyright (Received May 20, 6.30 p.m.) CALCUTTA, May 19. The Indian Congress Committee meeting at Patna, passed a resolution endorsing Mahatma Gandhi’s statement, embodying the decision to reserve civil disobedience to himself, withdrawing it from others. An amendment urging the total withdrawal of the disobedience movement was withdrawn.
